Celebrating one year of CBRNR!
Our last dance for 2006 will be in November... and it will be special! We are celebrating a successful first year for Cardigan Bay Rock'n'Rollers, keeping rock'n'roll and jive alive and well in the Cardigan Bay area.
We held our first dance in January 2006 and we're very happy to have had so much support and interest over the year, during which time we've used our dancing to good effect, raising money with a sponsored dance for The Stroke Association, £215 at a benefit for Amnesty International, and having fun demonstrating our steps at a local hostelry!
So bring your own refreshments and come along to Cilgerran Village Hall on Saturday, November 25th, 8.00.p.m. - 11.00.p.m., where local band Backtrax will be belting out some good old rock'n'roll numbers.
Doors open 7.30.p.m. for half an hour of free tuition for those who've never jived before, or who want to brush up their steps. Admission is £5, children under 16 free, but must be acompanied by an adult. See you there!
